These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of t1allstars.com (the “Site”) and everything on it, including the tournament coverage, Pick’ems, and the viewer matchmaking ladder (“fight nights”). By using the Site, creating an account, or entering a fight night, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
The Site is operated by Tyler1 All-Stars (“we”, “us”, “our”) as an independently organised community tournament project. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site. You must also be old enough to hold a Riot Games account under Riot’s own terms in order to take part in fight nights.
Twitch is an optional link, not a requirement to browse the Site or the ladder. Entering a fight night requires an active subscription to the channel, which we check through Twitch at the moment you join the queue and may re-check before the qualifying event. Pros are exempt from the subscription requirement. If Twitch revokes or expires our access, we may ask you to link again.
To take part in fight nights you connect your Riot Games account through Riot Sign-On (RSO), the same way you can sign in with Twitch. Riot returns your Riot ID (game name and tag line) and a Riot player identifier, and we store that link on your account. Your Riot ID is verified by Riot rather than typed in by you, and we never see your Riot password. Connect only an account you own: playing on someone else’s account, or letting someone else play on yours, is a breach of these Terms. Your Riot ID is shown to your opponent and on the match page so the two of you can find each other in client.
You agree not to:
Breaching this section can lead to a corrected or voided result, a rating adjustment, a queue cooldown, disqualification from a season or event, or a ban from the ladder or the Site.
Report results honestly and promptly. Admins may ask for evidence, including screenshots or recordings, and may adjust, void, or replay a result if a report appears false or a match was not played fairly. Admin decisions on results, penalties, disputes, and qualification are final. Lying in a report is itself a breach of these Terms.
Fight nights and the ladder carry no prize money — the stakes are rating, qualification, and bragging rights. Some separate tournament events do offer prizes, and those events publish their own format and prize details on the Site. Where a prize is offered, the published details for that event form part of these Terms. Winners are responsible for any taxes arising from a prize and may need to provide information needed to pay it out. Prizes are awarded at the organiser’s discretion where a winner is unreachable, ineligible, or in breach of these Terms.
Pick’ems is a free prediction game with no entry fee. You cannot win money by taking part, and it is not a betting or gambling service. Leaderboard rankings are public. Picks are locked when the event starts, and scoring follows the published Pick’ems rules.
You keep ownership of anything you submit, such as a display name, avatar, application, or match report. By submitting it you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and use it to run the Site, the tournaments, the ladder, and related broadcasts and promotion. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared with others or kept for legal or dispute purposes. If you take part in a broadcast event you agree that your display name and gameplay may be shown on stream and in related material.
The Site, its design, and its original content and data belong to us or our licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may use our public data endpoints as described above, but you may not copy the Site wholesale or present our content as your own.
Tyler1 All-Stars is not endorsed by or affiliated with Riot Games, Twitch, or any other game or platform we cover, and it does not reflect the views or opinions of those companies or anyone officially involved in producing or managing them. League of Legends and Riot Games are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. Twitch is a trademark of Twitch Interactive, Inc. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Signing in with Twitch or Riot, playing a match on Riot Games’ platform, or opening a link to another site all involve services we do not control. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and you are responsible for following them. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their content.
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that ratings, results, or statistics will always be accurate or complete. Matchmaking is trust-based: we cannot observe your matches, so results depend on players reporting honestly. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, rating, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or your participation in any match, event, or the ladder. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing affects your statutory consumer rights.
We may suspend, restrict, or close an account, remove content, or disqualify a player at any time if we believe these Terms have been broken, if a result is unreliable, or if continuing would harm other users, the ladder, or the Site. You may stop using the Site at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content licences already granted, and the disclaimers and liability limits — continue to apply.
We may update these Terms as the Site and the ladder evolve. When we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the Site or by email. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the state and federal courts located in Missouri have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that either party may seek relief in any court with jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
